Abstract
The implementation of multilingual education in the Ukrainian school involves reliance on the theoretical foundations and approaches of modern linguistic and literary education laid down in the conceptual provisions of the National Academy of Sciences (2016), the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education (2020), the Conceptual Model of Multilingual Education in General Secondary Education Institutions with the Teaching of Native Languages peoples and national minorities (O. Fidkevich, V. Snegiryova, N. Bakulina, 2021). From the point of view of didactics, multilingualism is the only communicative competence, therefore the learning of each new language is based on the principle of "superstructure" of a single language system formed in the mind of the student.
