Abstract

As part of the "Days of Science" online marathon, organized by the Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, many theoreticians and practitioners were able to share their achievements and expectations that today face the education of children with SEN in general, and the education of children with hearing impairment in particular. At the same time, the centuries-old methods and forms of education, adaptive programs and textbooks that ensured continuity in the acquisition of education (preschool, school, professional, higher) suddenly became redundant and "obsolete" in the pursuit of tracing the innovative trends of education in individual countries.
