Abstract
The manual, prepared based on the results of a study of socio-psychological factors in the development of civic competence of student youth, presents the empirical justification of the socio-psychological conditioning of the practices of competent civic participation of student youth. Factors and indicators of the development of civic competence of young people in family interaction, interaction with the media, educational and Internet environment are determined. Resources have been identified and technologies and practical tools are offered - diagnostic and developmental methods, focused on engaging in interaction in various social environments and developing civic competences of future teachers. It is addressed to teachers of institutions of higher education, students, psychologists, specialists in the field of education - teachers, practical psychologists, representatives of educational public organizations.
