Abstract

The theses analyze the latest analytical materials of the European Center for the Development of Vocational Education (Cedefop), which highlight the issues of training organization, the transition to a green economy, and the prospects for vocational education in Europe. The question of optimizing the balance between professional skills, general subjects and transversal skills is considered. Ways to strengthen the general education component of vocational education programs using various means (increasing the scope of teaching general education subjects, better integrating them into the professional curriculum, etc.) are being explored.
