Abstract

The urgency of training the teaching staff to work with different categories of adults is substantiated. The problem that needs to be solved is singled out and the ways and methods of its solution are highlighted. The general characteristics of the andragogy profession are described. The main types of competencies required by the teaching staff are substantiated and alternative models of their training in the system of formal and informal education are described. The materials will be interesting for managers, scientists, scientific and pedagogical workers, workers in the social sphere, and a wide range of people who work as adults.
