Abstract
The article considers topical psychological and pedagogical problems of sensory education of preschool children with intellectual disabilities through the formation of perceptual actions. Sensory education of preschoolers is aimed at developing the feelings and perceptions of the child, which provides sensory cognition of reality. The article describes the stages of formation of sensory development of a child with intellectual disabilities. The didactic material corresponding to each stage is given, which can be conditionally divided into several groups according to the nature of game actions with them. Sensory education of children with intellectual disabilities, which is carried out taking into account the sequence of formation of perceptual actions and taking into account the peculiarities of perception is an effective means of their sensory development.
