Abstract
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine advises - "Think about the future, not the past. Dream, plan, discuss with significant others what we will do first after peace is established. Such reflections and conversations are energizing and stabilizing." We think about prospects: how we will rebuild even more beautiful and comfortable buildings on the site of destroyed buildings, develop education, special pedagogy with even greater inspiration, work with elation, a keen sense of values, the impossibility of falsehood, falsehood. An important direction of research of the Department of Education of Children with Hearing Impairments of the Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is the determination of priorities for the development of education of children with hearing impairments, taking into account international approaches and the best domestic experience. We would also like to share the results of the discussion on the development of special education institutions with practicing teachers. For this purpose, we developed and conducted the author's training "Perspectives for the development of a special educational institution".
