Abstract
The work emphasizes the importance of parents realizing that for the child's well-being at school in the conditions of education reform and other permanent changes, it is especially important to acquire such a resource as the ability to self-determine: professional or professional. This competence is considered in the context of the wider process of "well-becoming". Mastering it is an important condition for "satisfaction" with learning "here and now", which acquires the status of a motive. Their choice as a customer of educational services depends on the child's both well-being in the present time and for his future.
