Abstract
The problem of ensuring high-quality and effective psychological and pedagogical support for persons with special needs is undoubtedly decisive in their attainment of any level of education. After all, it is this most vulnerable and most unprotected category of citizens of our country that needs the greatest attention and help in all types of their activities and at any stage of their life path. Of course, it is very difficult to provide a detailed description and analysis of all aspects and issues related to the given problem in a review and analytical section that is quite small in scope. However, we will try, at least in a concise way, to outline, or perhaps mention the state of scientific and methodological support for psychological and pedagogical support of persons of the specified category at the stage of obtaining the appropriate educational level and draw attention not only to the achievements or successes on this path, but also to problems that require an urgent solution.
