Abstract
A special category of children with hearing impairment is children with hearing impairment. According to scientists, children with hearing impairment differ among themselves in many ways. Each child with a hearing impairment is unique in terms of clinical (hearing condition, effectiveness of correction by medical and technical means, time of onset of impairment, etc.), social (time of detection of impairment and initiation of comprehensive care, degree of involvement of significant adults, etc.), speech (sign language or verbal family, level of mastery of sign and verbal languages), cognitive and other aspects.
