Abstract
The article considers the current state of the process of socialization of people with special educational needs and the impact of emotional intelligence on the level of adaptation of a person with atypical development. Currently, the process of socialization is the subject of research by specialists in many fields of scientific knowledge. Psychologists, philosophers, sociologists, educators, social psychologists reveal various aspects of this process, explore the mechanisms, stages and stages, factors of socialization. However, the problem of socialization of children / adolescents with special educational needs in the context of the formation of emotional intelligence in the domestic literature has not yet been the subject of special research. In particular, for special psychology, the topic of emotional intelligence is quite modern and new given the origin of the definition of "emotional intelligence". Although the problem of emotional intelligence of people with special educational needs is very relevant, theoretically and practically developed, it is insufficient. Therefore, the aim of the study will be to study the impact of emotional intelligence on the socialization of adolescents with special educational needs. The author emphasizes that the urgency of the study is due to the urgent needs of innovative psychological knowledge, because until recently the problem of ways to develop, form and correct emotional intelligence in ontogeny was considered secondary to academic intelligence, which is still considered the most important goal of education and socialization of atypical adolescents. , especially in the era of industrialization and technocracy. The processes of socialization have actualized the attention of Ukrainian scholars to the reorientation of the main vector of personality development to the emotional and sensory sphere. The regularity of such changes has become especially evident in the light of the latest psychological research and life practices of children with special educational needs, who showed that the success of social, professional, family functioning of individuals of all ages and genders depends primarily on emotional intelligence. Accordingly, there is a significant increase in scientific interest in the study of psychological and pedagogical factors that determine the interaction of two types of intelligence and mechanisms of activation of cognition in affect and affect in cognition.
