Abstract
Within the framework of the first stage of scientific research in accordance with the tasks in 2021, the following results were obtained: the conceptual and terminological apparatus related to the subject of research was defined and the concepts were clarified: "information and digital technologies", "evaluation of the effectiveness of pedagogical research using information and digital technologies", "effectiveness of pedagogical research"; an analysis of domestic regulatory documents on the subject of research was carried out. The domestic and foreign experience of using information and digital technologies for evaluating the effectiveness of pedagogical research is analyzed. The requirements and provisions of the current domestic regulatory documents are investigated for their compliance with international principles and approaches to the use of quantitative indicators in assessing the activities of scientists, research works, and scientific institutions, taking into account the specifics of the field of pedagogical sciences. The scientometric indicators for determining the ranking of scientific institutions and scientists, the source of which is Web of Science, Scopus, Publons, and Google Scholar, are highlighted. The features of the use of electronic social networks Researchgate and Academia.edu for evaluating the effectiveness of scientific and pedagogical research using altmetric indicators are determined. The representation of scientific institutions and higher education institutions in the world and national rankings by their indicators are analyzed. General approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of pedagogical research using information and digital technologies are highlighted. The criteria and indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of pedagogical research using information and digital technologies are determined. The questionnaire (survey) for scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers was developed.
