Abstract
The article is devoted to solving the problem of the influence of mentality and authentic ethnic archetypes on the formation of the system of special education and special psychology in the context of education and upbringing of children with special needs. The author identifies the state of development of the problem and the main conceptual approaches to its study, in particular on current trends in education, upbringing and psychological support (psychological assistance) for people with special educational needs. The peculiarities and specifics of the influence of archetypes on the formation of social institutions, in particular the education and upbringing of children / adolescents of this category, are identified and described. The state of modern special psychology and special pedagogy in the context of research of archetypal Ukrainian society is characterized. The purpose of the publication is to study a fairly new category, such as the phenomenon of the archetype in special psychology in Ukraine. This is not only a new but very controversial scientific aspect, in particular the problem of the identity of the psychological direction in the context of the influence of archetypes and mentality on the aspect of education and psychological assistance to children / adolescents with special educational needs. Ethnic archetypes in special pedagogy and correctional education are quite variable, as they can both increase and decrease, die out, then revive, and even change dramatically. The Institute of Society and Education considers the archetype as a stable phenomenon, but at the same time not. Because the archetype may not have a stable impact on educational processes in the country, and at other times - vice versa. Archetypes are the determining factors in the formation of education, science and psychological assistance, the driving force of state processes.
