Abstract
In working with children with reduced hearing, physical therapy is used as a means to eliminate secondary deviations in the psychophysical development of the child, which arise as a result of the limitation of auditory function or complex disorders. Hearing impairment in a child can be caused by certain developmental features (disorders of posture and feet, change in the shape of the chest, disruption of the process of forming basic movements and coordination of movements). Speech development is an important area of corrective and developmental work with children with hearing impairments. Therefore, in PE classes, time should be allocated to strengthen respiratory and articulatory muscles in children. In contrast to physical education, therapeutic physical education in special schools for children with hearing impairment is aimed not only at the prevention and correction of secondary deviations in the physical development and motor readiness of children, but also at improving the functional state of the cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal and other systems , the level of health in general and the development of compensatory functions of the body's sensory system.
