Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of life, including the educational system. A significant number of countries have introduced local restrictions that affected participants of the educational process. In particular, in March 2020, educational institutions around the world announced their closure, respectively, millions of students were unable to continue their education in schools, universities and other educational institutions. This situation made it necessary to look for alternatives that can be used to continue education. However, despite all the precautions taken, the educational process suffered significantly, and the participants in the educational process experienced a negative psychological impact. It becomes even more difficult for participants of the educational process to recover from it, especially during a long period of isolation. The post-traumatic consequences of the pandemic lead the individual to the inability to fully return to the usual routine of life, as well as to the constant feeling of isolation, the presence of severe discomfort as a result of a long stay in quarantine. Hundreds of psychologists have been looking for ways to improve the well-being of people facing the dire consequences of the pandemic. That is why the main need is not only to study the features of the impact of the pandemic on the individual but also to determine the most favourable, effective strategies for overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus impact, in particular, the possibilities of post-COVID rehabilitation of participants of the educational process. Today, psychological measures that can increase the morale and motivation of participants of the educational process are becoming increasingly important. The article analyzes more effective methods of post-COVID rehabilitation. Among them are group psychotherapy, positive psychotherapy based on the PERMA model, as well as the main techniques of cognitive-behavioural therapy, in particular cognitive reappraisal, which turned out to be the most common.
