Abstract
The education system, as one of the most important social institutions of the state, generally determines the direction of progress of the country and its society as a whole, as it performs the relevant functions for the sake of economic, social, cultural and worldview development. The war in which we are today, its consequences, prompt us to think about the restoration and transformation of the Ukrainian education system, the search for the most optimal solutions, taking into account a number of complex issues that will be urgent over a certain period of time: a huge number of destroyed and damaged educational institutions - where and how to organize the educational process?; a significant number of educators changed their place of residence (occupation, forced resettlement, emigration) - how to overcome the lack of qualified teaching staff?; technical problems setting up even distance learning (absence of Internet, tablets/computers, etc.); many participants in the educational process do not have the required level of knowledge of IT technologies and, in general, technical devices to participate in the educational process in remote mode - how to quickly and effectively organize "liqbez" in this area; post-traumatic and stressful conditions in most participants of the educational process - how to overcome this in a very short time? etc. No country in the world has ever faced such a set of challenges in recent human history.
