Abstract

Timely diagnosis of the psychological features of the development of children of older preschool age with cochlear implants (CI) is not only an extremely relevant scientific and theoretical issue, but, rather, a practically urgent aspect in working with children of the specified nosology. Because in order to properly interact with a child, a psychologist and educator needs detailed, thorough and complete knowledge about the peculiarities of the child's cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and regulatory spheres. To do this, it is necessary to have special tools for assessing personality areas, among which the following practical psychodiagnostic methods can be identified. We note that the selection of methods is carried out according to the criteria of validity, reliability, availability of appropriate age norms and other psychometric indicators.
