Abstract

The theses reveal who was the guardian of the native language, history, and culture. The ideas of Borys Hrinchenko, his outlook on issues in the field of education and upbringing, and the development of public education are revealed, which confirm that it was the great scientist who always stood as a guardian of the native Ukrainian language. The views of Borys Hrinchenko regarding the native word, the Ukrainian language, and culture, which clearly can be traced in his work.
