Abstract
The thesis presents the methodology of intra-branch (in the field of historical and civic education) integration, developed by the authors of the integrated course "Exploring history and society". It is based on the fact that the content of the educational material of the course is formed as blocks of interdisciplinary information around single core system-forming categories or ideas, which makes it possible to explore them from the point of view of different educational subjects/educational fields.
