Abstract
The article focuses the attention of teachers on forms of the organization of teaching students and provides examples of different definitions of the term phrase suggested by modern researchers. It emphasizes the importance of teachers’ awareness of diversity of the forms of teaching and their specifics for teaching the students of 5th-6th grades with the languages of national minorities as main languages of teaching. The article briefly describes different classifications of the forms of teaching, brought to light by the author based on the results of the studying scientific and methodological sources and publications in scientific journals. Apart from that it explores the differentiation between the terms “form of teaching” and “form of students’ learning”. In particular, the second term is defined as a category of the first one. This article explores in great detail the forms of teaching and the forms of students’ learning and offers their short description. It analyzes the reflection of the forms of teaching and the forms of students’ learning in current documents regulating education in secondary education institutions and teaching Ukrainian in secondary education institutions with languages of national minorities as the main language of teaching. This article describes the specifics of application of the forms of teaching and the forms of students’ learning of 5th-6th grade students of secondary education institutions with languages of national minorities as the main language of teaching and enumerates the necessary conditions adherence to which promotes effective acquisition of the state language. In particular, the article contains considerations of application in the process of education, the forms of teaching and the forms of students’ learning in conditions of bilingualism with the consideration of the age specifics of 5th-6th grade students.
