Abstract

Аnnotation The method of formation of elementary school children's ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships as one of the important psychological mechanisms underlying forecasting is disclosed. The stages of formation of the specified skill, features of its practice in 1-2 and 3-4 grades are highlighted. The expediency of practical familiarization of students of 3-4 grades with subordinating conjunctions because; because; so that; because of; so that etc., which will serve for children as a kind of supports-signals about the existence of cause-and-effect relationships in the text between events, actions of characters, phenomena, facts in nature, in social relations, etc.
