Abstract
The author reveals modern problems of psychological, social and moral and ethical education, psychological assistance to persons with mental and physical disabilities in adolescence. A comparison of research in the field of providing psychological assistance to such children and adults in other democracies of the modern world. The author focuses on rather rare behavioral disorders and syndromes that are little studied in Ukrainian psychological science. Emphasis is placed on the need for cooperation of representatives of psychiatric, neurological (medical), social areas in research and formation of joint practical achievements, work to improve the quality of life of people with mental and physical disabilities, including adolescents with heboid characteristics. The author emphasizes that the relevance of the study is due to the lack of combined research (simultaneous study of a particular problem, syndrome by scientists in various fields), characterized by complex psychological, neurological, psychological and psychiatric problems, rare and little studied personality traits or as noted by foreign researchers. the nature of the individual with special needs. One of such little-studied aspects, the author considers the heboid behavior of adolescents with mental and physical disabilities. The problem, as noted, is not only in the choice of psychological assistance to such adolescents, but, above all, in the categorical definition of the term «heboid». Because there are definitions that see this as a type of delinquent behavior, or as a syndrome, or as a characteristic of personality or accentuation. The importance of the study of this syndrome seems important because it occurs during puberty, which in itself is a very difficult period for the formation of personality. The article emphasizes that the implementation of in-depth study of heboid syndrome in adolescents with mental and physical disabilities will allow to choose effective therapeutic techniques, strategies for psychological assistance not only to the child but also to the family raising it, educators.
