Abstract
The issues of parent-professional interaction have always been significant in deaf pedagogy, and now they are actualized in view of long-term distance learning, the conditions of obtaining education complicated by the war. Modern legislation gives parents the leading role and the main responsibility for the development of the child (Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On general secondary education", "About preschool education", Concept of the New Ukrainian school). Parents have the right to choose an educational institution, educational program, type and form of education. Parents are part of the team accompanying the child. The professional-parent team accompanying a child with hearing impairment (in the broad sense, which combines medical-technical, psychological-pedagogical, social components) is effective if it acts on the basis of the principles of partnership pedagogy.
