Abstract
In the offered article certain features of adaptive control and estimation of methodical knowledge of future teachers of history in universities of Ukraine are considered, the essence of monitoring research of their quality on the basis of the competence approach is opened. The author provides the content of the monitoring process as an effective tool for collecting and processing information arrays during the training of future history teachers in higher education institutions (hereinafter – HEI) on an adaptive basis. It is about the relevance of digital technologies and various online services and their adaptation to the current situation in terms of COVID quarantine restrictions, which provoked a global transition to automation of the educational process, including control and evaluation functions of pedagogical activities of higher education teachers, who train future teachers of history. An important aspect revealed in the article is the adaptive processes of formation of methodological competence of history teachers in modern HEIs, which should ensure the teaching of history in general secondary education in the future. The author is convinced that the quality of methodological knowledge of higher education students (future history teachers) is ensured by systematic, timely and objective control and evaluation of their academic achievements on an adaptive basis. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the specifics of methodological activities of future history teachers reflect the experience of generations, accumulate significant knowledge of historical specialty in combination with pedagogical, develop their ability to adequately situational assessment of events and phenomena of social life. This ensures the methodological competence of future history teachers in the selection of certain technologies, methodological complexes, methods and techniques of teaching history – the transfer of knowledge to students of general secondary education.
