Abstract

Analyzed the background research environment problems in theoretical approaches to the development of personality. It is noted that one of the key moments in the construction of concepts and theories of personality is its dynamics in the course of individual life. This process is in most cases called the development of personality. At the same time, the role of the environment in it in different approaches is quite controversial and ambiguous. The article attempts to provide a historical basis for the logic of the current situation in Ukrainian psychology at the end of the 20th century.
