Abstract
STEM disciplines are considered to be effective economic factors able to contribute to the spread of STEM education throughout the world. Effective STEM education is a means of developing in students a wide range of competencies necessary for a productive professional and creative life in the 21st century. Educational institutions, in particular of general secondary education, implementing educational programs based on STEM, need teachers who have knowledge and pedagogical skills in various disciplines included in the STEM cycle, and are able to contribute to the development of the personality of schoolchildren.
