Abstract

The article reveals aspects of the effectiveness while introducing modern technologies in career management of the higher education institutions academics. Particular attention is focused on modern interdisciplinary management technologies. Personal branding is borrowed from business and economics as an effective mechanism for the professional development of an academic, reclamation of his achievements and accumulated experience, creation of a successful portfolio and resume. The success of career development of research and teaching staff depends on the active use of innovative technologies, the integration of teaching and research activities, as well as expertise. The parameters (style, standards, and competence) and personal brand tools that are realized through the growth of financial well-being, satisfaction with activity, achievement of authority and recognition in the professional field, career development, creation and realization of educational projects, business cases, as well as promotion self-esteem and selfrespect have been analyzed. The possibility for introduction of recruiting technology by higher education institutions structural units that provide the personnel policy of the institution, in particular, contribute to the professional or career development of academics has been substantiated. Recruiting is a technology that involves the study of the psychological and professional qualities of academics in order to recruit and do competitive selection of the most competent applicants (taking into account qualifications, specialties, personal qualities and abilities to a specific field of educational activity methodological, research, etc.), correlation of values of higher education institution and employee’s personality.
