Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of professional adaptation of the young teacher in the conditions of modern educational transformations. The objective factors reducing the number of young teachers in Ukraine (unacceptability of pedagogical profession, aging of pedagogical staff, low social status of a teacher, the risk of psychological deviations, etc.) are revealed. The results of the survey among young teachers about the difficulties they encounter during the period of adaptation to professional activity are presented, and the conclusion is made on the need to support this category of teachers. The essence of professional adaptation of the young teacher is analyzed; the forms of its organization are presented. The innovative technologies application efficiency in young teachers` training on the basis of the andragogical approach is substantiated and the topics of the corresponding trainings (motivational, educational, developmental, communicative, relaxation) are offered.
