Abstract
The article highlights the need for purposeful methodically sound process of formation of professional and value orientations in modern students. According to the results of the ascertaining stage of the experiment, the peculiarities of the formation of the levels of development of professional and value orientations in adolescents and high school students were established. A number of factors that negatively affect the effectiveness of the formation of students' professional and value orientations to work in the educational process have been identified. The method of conducting the formative stage of the research is substantiated, the purpose of which is to determine the effectiveness of the pedagogical technology of formation of professional and value orientations in students introduced into educational practice. It is determined that the technology of formation of students' professional and value orientations to work in modern socio-economic conditions, appears as a set of methods, techniques, principles and methods of career guidance, based on the methodological arsenal of personality-oriented approach, and meet such requirements as dialogue, activity creative nature, aimed at supporting individual development, providing the student with the necessary space for freedom, for independent decision-making, creativity, choice of content and means in professional self-determination and further professional development. Conditions for the effectiveness of the formation of professional and value orientations in students are determined by individual approach, dialogue, selfexpression, creativity, subject-value activity. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of this technology will depend on the systematic, integrity, manageability of content, forms and methods of forming professional and value orientations of students to work and constant monitoring of expected changes. According to the results of the formative experiment, a conclusion was made, firstly, on the controllability of the process of formation of professional and value orientations in students, secondly, on the effectiveness of the positive impact on the proposed pedagogical technology of professional and value orientations.
