Abstract
Successful social integration of children with special needs, their confidence in their future, in particular in a difficult socio-political and economic situation is possible not only with quality general education, but also modern vocational education that meets their life aspirations. This problem is especially relevant for educational institutions for children with hearing impairments, the issue of vocational training has always been given considerable attention in special schools. Numerous studies of Ukrainian deaf educators (V. Zasenko, S. Kulbida, O. Taranchenko, M. Yarmachenko and others) testify to the ability of people with hearing impairments to master a wide range of specialties, including working, and work productively in many sectors of the economy. In the modern education system for children with hearing impairments, there are educational institutions that have significant potential for the development of innovative educational models.
