Abstract

The state standard of basic secondary education, which is based on values and key competencies, determines the content and organization of education in the adaptation cycle of the basic level of education, in particular in the 5th grade. Key competencies, as cross-cutting for all educational fields, must be formed in all subjects. Acquisition of key competencies by students as a result of training presupposes their mastery of relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes.
