Abstract

Successful implementation of applied orientation of school mathematical education requires a holistic reorientation of the content of learning. Educational material should contribute not only to purely mathematical skills, but also the ability to apply knowledge in atypical situations, to work with problems related to the content of other subject industries, with real life contexts, to summarize and use information on the basis of their research, to operate different sources of information.
