Abstract

The generalized results of the study of foreign models of self-evaluation of the quality of general secondary education institutions functioning are presented. It is noted that the differences in foreign models of self-evaluation of educational institutions are due to national, historical, administrative-territorial, economic and other features and depend on the degree of regulation of procedures and methodological tools. Common in most models of self-evaluation of the education quality in general secondary education institutions is the combination of external inspection mechanisms in various ways with an internal assessment by the institution of the achieved results of functioning. A shift in emphasis in the list of indicators to measure the ability of an educational institution to ensure the implementation of distance learning, psychological readiness and the level of motivation of participants in the educational process for learning and teaching was revealed.
