Abstract

The urgency of the problem of individualization of education is substantiated. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the implementation of these ideas is associated with the definition of methods for diagnosing the individual capabilities of students, the level of development of their key competencies, special abilities and inclinations to a particular activity; expanding opportunities to differentiate the content of education in accordance with the individual characteristics of students; changing the role of the teacher from a knowledge translator to an assistant and consultant.
