Abstract

The article reveals the essence of the concept of anthropocentrism as a philosophy of humanistic approach and guidelines for building, functioning and development of social institutions, including the national education system. It is stated that the main direction of state policy in the field of education is its personality-oriented model, the purpose of which is to expand the child's competent choice of life path and self-development. It is proved that one of the ways to implement human-centered education is individualization, in particular, this concept is congruent with the essence and content of personality-oriented education. it is substantiated that the individualization of education is a strategy for the development of modern general education, aimed at effective attention to each student, his creative personality. It is determined that the purpose of such individualization of education is the formation and development of personal values ​​of students, their support and protection, providing mechanisms for self-realization, self-development, self-reflection, self-regulation, self-defense, self-education and self-education. personality as a subject of activity and social relations.
