Abstract
Is stated that the feature of the COVID-19 pandemic is the global level impact on all countries, regardless of their geographical location. Accordingly, its nature of influence on education is global, which necessitates further evolution of the methodology of comparative education, the "golden" rule of which is the study of educational realities in inseparable connection with the political / social / economic / cultural context. Under the new conditions, the unit of education acquires a global level complexity, as the importance of global benchmarks of international organizations and general trends in education development is complemented by the importance of national formats of pandemic education, as well as the practices of individual educational institutions in the introduction of blended learning.
