Abstract
The theses emphasize the importance of skillful and conscious use by students of their natural talents (the author includes intuition and associative thinking - associations) in the process of designing and constructing technical objects, developing creative projects. It is noted that this conclusion is based on the analysis of the results of experimental research in the educational process of the gymnasium, which was conducted by the author for the first time. The essence of intuition and association is highlighted in detail and clearly, which technology teachers will be able to use both to improve their professional level and to teach students. Methodical recommendations are offered for teachers to use intuition and associations in the educational process of the gymnasium.
