Abstract

The modern content of the physics course should be based on a number of methodological issues, including the methodology of science and ontology. When presenting methodological issues of physics, it is advisable to use material on the history of physical science. Questions about matter and motion, space and time, causality are perceived more clearly and convincingly, if historical material is used.
