Abstract

The article presents the results of the analysis of historical and pedagogical literature and legal documents in the field of education of children with special needs. It has been established that the new legal documents of the State Standard of Primary Education (2018, 2020), the Regulations on the Special School (2019), the Regulations on the Educational and Rehabilitation Center (2019) and others have played a big role in the development of not only the educational process of children with special needs, but also their rapid adaptation to society. It was determined that children with special needs, having their own characteristics, studied in special institutions. The relevance of the problem in this direction is substantiated and it is proved that their education and upbringing was carried out under specially created conditions, it was found out what services were provided to children with special needs by general educational institutions, and it was also established how the educational process of children with special needs took place. It was determined what needs were related to the peculiarities of the educational process of such children, namely: correctional-developed classes, psychological and pedagogical services, correction of physical and / or mental development. It is shown that according to the order of organization of the educational process in general educational institutions, the main tasks of the special school were determined. It was established that during the study period, different types of institutions worked in accordance with special educational needs, children with special needs, having their own characteristics, studied in various specified types of schools in accordance with their own characteristics; studied according to individual programs, it was found out how the educational process of children with special needs. It has been proven that the introduction is the basis of an innovative approach to teaching children with special educational needs and is now one of the urgent problems of their development.
