Abstract

The text presents the educational activities of the "Russian Trinity" in the Western Ukrainian lands, which clearly distinguished itself in the first half of the 19th century; it is shown what place was occupied by members of the circle of advanced Western Ukrainian youth "Russian Trinity": Markiyan Semenovich Shashkevich (1811-1843), Ivan Nikolaevich Vagilevich (1811-1866) and Yakov Fedorovich Golovatsky (1814-1888). role in the development of education, and especially in the struggle for the rights of the Ukrainian language in Western Ukrainian lands.
