Abstract
The role of pedagogical internship in the professional development of a young specialist is outlined. The foreign experience of introduction of pedagogical internship as a form of professional improvement for the purpose of entering the profession, adaptation to the conditions of educational institution on the basis of combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience of pedagogical activity on the basis of partner mentoring is analyzed.It is noted that in the current conditions of reforming domestic pedagogical education the need to bring the content and procedural component of pedagogical training of teachers in line with the standards of primary and general secondary education, strengthening the development of practical competencies of teachers on praxeologically innovative principles.
