Abstract
Based on the above, a pattern was substantiated: the strategy of humanization of school education in the manifestation of personality-oriented learning and recognition of the child/person as the highest value, the proclamation of comprehensive support for the disclosure of its abilities and potentials in the course of a high-quality educational process, reveals the deterministic function of humanization as an imperative requirement for ensuring child-centrism and the quality of secondary general education. Conversely – non-child-centered and poor-quality secondary education cannot be considered humanistic, because it delays development and does not contribute to self-realization of the individual.
