Abstract
The relevancy of the article is due to the need to develop technology to support members of stigmatized minorities, which will apply to the training of professionals and volunteers of public organizations to interact with them. The study of the psychological properties of professionals who face the problems of stigmatization in their work, will allow for a better selection of tools to increase their readiness. The purpose of the article was to study the manifestation of such psychological properties as reflection, tolerance, the desire to help others and motivation to participate in public activity, depending on the willingness to provide various kinds of help by specialists of public organizations such as informational, educational, psychological, material. The obtained results showed that the specialists of public organizations, who are ready to provide informational and educational assistance, have a high level of tolerance, and psychological assistance – a pronounced tolerance as a character trait. It was found that specialists with a strong need to provide informational, educational and psychological assistance have a high level of self-reflection, which characterizes them as able to better analyze their emotional reactions, understand the causes of certain stereotypes and their impact on their own behavior. High indicators of socioreflection are demonstrated by those specialists who are ready to provide educational and psychological assistance. This shows the importance of taking into account not only their own emotions and experiences in providing educational and psychological assistance, but also understanding the needs of those who need it. The practical significance of the obtained results will be that taking into account the importance of tolerance, reflection, motivation of assistance and participation in public activities in the development of technologies for the development of competence of employees and volunteers of public organizations and in increasing psychological readiness to interact with stigmatized minorities with those who need help.
