Abstract

The article reveals the need for the implementation of holistic education for sustainable development on the basis of general laws of science and transdisciplinary approach, through which students form a holistic scientific picture of the world and a viable national image of the world of each student. The authors made an attempt to reveal the conditions for the formation of the image of the world of primary, basic and specialized school students, based on the experience of the model of education for sustainable development (ESD) “Dovkillia” (1994-2014). During the implementation of the model of education ESD “Dovkillia” students used ICT in educational activities, including lessons in the environment during the modeling of their own image of the world, the scientific picture of the world and its components. The formation of the integrity of the content of education, as a system of knowledge about reality, is impossible without the embodiment in programs, textbooks of the content of general laws of science, based on which the scientific picture of the world, a viable national image of the world. Methodical bases of formation of a scientific picture of the world developed by department of integration of the maintenance of general secondary education of Institute of pedagogics of NAPS of Ukraine can be a basis of formation of integral world outlook of young generations. Work on the implementation and study of the effectiveness of the model of education for sustainable development "Environment" allows us to conclude that the positive experience of implementing ideas for education for sustainable development using ICT in the study of integrated courses "Environment" (1-4 classes), "Science" (Grades 5-11) should be used during the development and implementation of integrated education in different educational fields from grades 1 to 12. The authors of the article transdisciplinary approach in the educational model "Environment" involves creating conditions for the connection of individual disciplines in the future.
