Abstract
The problem of the “Criterial Kaleidoscope” method implementation in working with gifted youth, as an innovative education feature is analyzed in the article; the content of the concepts “innovative practice”, “innovative activity”, “gifted youth” in the outlined problem context is specified. It is established that innovative practice is a process that consists in the content and organization formation and development of something new. It was found that the “innovation practice” concept is primarily a component of a comprehensive «innovation» concept; innovative practice in terms of the educational process is the impetus for the innovative teacher’s activities, which means novelty, “novelties, innovations introduction”. The Ukrainian concept analogue is the phrase “innovation”, which means the process of using novelty. It is specified that the education purpose under the conditions of innovative educational activity implementation is free development of individual abilities, motives, personal values of the versatile, creative personality. It is noted that the educational process is the unity of three components, namely the teacher, students, the education subject. It is determined that one of the main teacher’s indicators in working with gifted youth is the knowledge of innovative work methods and creating new ones. It is established that the innovative methods’ implementation by the teacher in working with gifted youth allows to integrate knowledge from many subjects and apply them into practice. It was found that the innovative practices’ basic element of the educational process in working with gifted youth is the various game methods’ use, in particular, the use of the “criterial kaleidoscope” method, which advantage is to develop typological kinship in different disciplines’ study. For example: to think independently and to structure educational material, develop the person’s self-knowledge and information culture. It is determined that during the use of this method in educational practice: a mutual respect and support atmosphere is created, where the teacher acts as a facilitator, which is extremely important in terms of reforming the educational processes of Ukraine; a positive worldview space is formed, in which it is possible to plan the right actions in a specific situation, which arise in the student's mind as a result of his/ her own experience; an interactive atmosphere is formed in the educational environment, which influences the way students perform tasks and develops their creative imagination about a particular phenomenon or process.
