Abstract

The article examines the features of the formation of the image of the world of schoolchildren and the role of integration of natural science education in this process. The image of the world of schoolchildren is characterized as a personally significant integrity of knowledge about the world − the starting point and result of any cognitive process. Particular attention is focused on the importance of taking into account the image of the world when building a trajectory for schoolchildren’s learning and effective organization of the educational space.
