Abstract

The proposed workshop contains a large number of historical sources on the history of Ukraine from ancient times to the present, including documents, sources, fragments of memoirs, works of art, statistics, photographs, political posters, advertisements, postcards, cartoons, samples of folk folklore. In selecting historical sources, the authors took into account a multi-perspective approach, in which a particular historical situation is covered from several (at least two) perspectives representing different social positions and interests. The first section of the workshop provides students with the features of historical sources of different types, algorithms for working with them. The condition of many tasks encourages students to make assumptions, analyze or compare historical events and phenomena, identify commonalities and differences, to establish cause and effect relationships of various kinds, historical reconstruction and personification, the formulation and argumentation of personal opinion based on historical analysis sources for the development of historical empathy and historical imagination. The introduction of the workshop in the educational process will contribute to the formation of students' key and subject competencies, research thinking, practical skills and abilities to acquire subjectively new knowledge of history in the process of developing historical sources. For students of secondary schools of Ukraine.
