Abstract
World trends in the development of education are associated with promising areas of employment, which, above all, include all areas of engineering, computer science and science. The problem of formation of environments of scientific education on the basis of integration of formal and non-formal education is actual now. This requires, on the one hand, a more detailed consideration of the phenomenon of scientific education, and on the other one – the definition of the features of specialized educational institutions of scientific direction, which ensure their innovation. The concept of scientific education, in contrast to the traditional, based on interdisciplinarity, contextual openness, it aims to ensure creativity and specialization, initiative and responsibility, personal autonomy and socialization. Awareness of the need to form scientific personnel is reflected in the legal documents: the Law of Ukraine “On Education” (Article 21), “On scientific and scientific-technical activities” (Article 26) and “Standard of specialized education in the scientific field”, which defines the requirements to the research competence of schoolchildren. The need for the formation of scientific personnel is reflected in the legal documents: the Law of Ukraine “On Education” (Article 21), “On scientific and scientific-technical activities” (Article 26) and “Standard of specialized education in the scientific”, which defines the requirements for research competence of schoolchildren. Features of scientific education are bifunctionality (education and science) and sensitivity to socio-economic demands. The Ukrainian education system provides for two approaches to the implementation of scientific education as a purposeful cognitive activity. Scientific education is aimed at the formation of integrated knowledge that combines disciplinary, interdisciplinary, procedural and epistemic. The realization of this goal is possible under the condition of cooperation between the teacher and the professional mentor. The methodology of specialized education in the scientific field is focused on the use of the scientific method and procedure of engineering design. Institutions of specialized education in the scientific field together with the socio-cultural environment form integrated educational environments that require the use of innovative learning technologies. Practical and theoretical developments of the National Center “Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” contribute to the development of scientific education. Key words: scientific education; specialized
