Abstract

Peculiarities of education of schoolchildren with intellectual disabilities in the conditions of the New Ukrainian school are considered. The importance of application is noted a competency-based approach to the education of children with intellectual disabilities, focusing on the formation of vital competence of the child in order to effectively socialize and integrate into society.
