Abstract

Education systems, in particular, pedagogical in the European Union, despite the political and ideological differences of different governments, underwent at the beginning of the XXI century a general movement towards further decentralization and deregulation of state control. Given this, the problem of creating an effective system for ensuring the quality of teacher education in Ukraine remains quite relevant today. A holistic understanding of higher education and its subsystems - pedagogical education, the study of the best examples of European experience, are important for solving local, national pedagogical and socio-cultural challenges in the context of deepening global or European challenges of the Knowledge Society.
